Our skincare elves craft this apple cider vinegar toner by infusing witch hazel leaves, calendula and lavender flowers, with our gentle, therapeutic essential oil blend.
Why is this toner so amazing? It's a comprehensive natural health aid, and can be used for toning your skin + hair, removing buildup from scalp & hair, reviving and balancing tired skin & hair after travel, while also naturally protecting skin and repelling fleas, ticks, and lice -- it's great for pets too!
Why apple cider vinegar? Our skin is naturally acidic, but when we use harsh cleansers and soaps, that natural acidity is removed, and the protective acid mantle of our skin (which is needed to protect our skin from germs, bacteria and pollution) is disrupted. Apple cider vinegar is a great cure for acne because it returns a healthy, pH balanced acidity to our skin, and restores the protective acid mantle, while killing bad bacteria, removing excess makeup, oil and dirt, and dissolving dead skin cells that dull and irritate our skin. This is exactly why it's a great hair rinse too (Christophe Robin, the star Parisian colorist, agrees), as it removes buildup, balances pH, returns natural acidity to our scalp, and protects again fleas, ticks, and lice -- and yes, your puppy can use it too (100% pet safe).

We let this macerate for a few months to extract the therapeutic properties of the herbs. It has a beautiful pink color from the flowers!
