THE STORY OF THIS PRODUCT
Laena's dear friend C is an insect magnet, and she wanted to make her a repellent that worked really well but also smelled good. She wondered: why do so many bug repellents smell like crap to both humans and bugs? She discovered that most of them use cheap synthetic chemicals rather than plant-derived essential oils, making them smell gross and work less effectively. Laena also wondered: why don't bug repellents work double-time as skincare, healing and toning the skin as well as protecting it? So she made this happen by infusing raw, organic apple cider vinegar with therapeutic herbs, and now C is bite-free, smells delicious to humans and gross to bugs, and has healthy, toned skin. For the win!

Our skincare elves craft this herbal infused apple cider vinegar based bug repellent by infusing healing plants of witch hazel leaves, calendula and lavender flowers, with our naturally bug repelling, therapeutic essential oil blend.
Why is this bug spray so amazing? It's a comprehensive natural health aid, and can be used on your skin + hair, protecting against bugs like mosquitos, ticks, fleas and bed bugs, while reviving and pH balancing skin & hair -- it's great and safe for pets and kids too!
Why apple cider vinegar? Our skin is naturally acidic, but when we use harsh cleansers and soaps, that natural acidity is removed, and the protective acid mantle of our skin (which is needed to protect our skin from germs, bacteria and pollution) is disrupted. Apple cider vinegar returns a healthy, pH balanced acidity to our skin, and restores the protective acid mantle, while killing bad bacteria. This is exactly why it's a great base for a bug repellent, as it naturally protects again fleas, ticks, and lice -- and yes, your puppy and your toddler can use it too.

Organic raw apple cider vinegar is infused with organic witch hazel leaves, calendula flowers, lavender flowers, and our therapeutic essential oil blend. We let this macerate for a few months to extract the therapeutic properties of the herbs. It has a beautiful light pink color from the flowers!
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
FOR SKIN: Spritz on skin and let air dry, avoiding eyes (it is vinegar based, so might sting if it gets in your eyes)
FOR HAIR: Spritz a few times, let air dry
